A beginning
We were both busy building our lives. Then one wedding made us both pause and imagine a shared future.
The call
Our first conversation felt unexpectedly easy. We spoke for three or four hours, and neither wanted to hang up.
Cubbon Park
We met at Cubbon Park the next day. Deepesh says the first glimpse of Rajshree made everything around him slow down.
Again, the next day
Our first date went so well that we met again the next day: five hours of cafe-hopping, talking, and eating.
A new routine
Long distance made five-hour calls feel normal. We stayed on video while reading, working, and sharing the smallest details of our days.
Secret chapters
Between calls came a few secret meetups. Those stolen pockets of time made us feel even closer.
The big reveal
Somewhere along the way, forever stopped sounding impossible. Telling our families made the joy feel larger and real.
The next stop
We cannot contain our excitement to officially be married on 4 December.
